Haydn Schroeder

Haydn Schroeder

Haydn is a young aviation enthusiast, who attended his first air show shortly before his first birthday.  He has traveled across the United States to numerous airshows to witness some of the best aviation in the world.  He attended AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI for the first time in 2017 and is anticipating another visit soon.  Haydn’s favorite pilots include Adam Baker of Adam Baker Airshows and Kyle Franklin of Franklin’s Flying Circus.

He began to combine his love of aviation with photography at the age of 4 when his dad introduced him to the Canon Digital Rebel while visiting a local airshow.  Now, at the age of 11, he continues to develop his photography skills as he travels with his family to numerous aviation events across the country.   It is not uncommon to see him positioned outside the fence, at the end of a runway, of an airport to take photographs of aircraft as they arrive and depart.  (DFW is his favorite!)

His goal is to one day catch an in-flight photograph of the AN225, an Airbus Beluga, and a Dreamlifter.

Haydn is a current member of the EAA and is looking forward to attending an S.T.E.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) middle school in the fall.
