Del Laughery

Del Laughery

Del learned to take pictures on 70mm film through a submarine periscope, processing the negatives in the boatís wardroom pantry turned darkroom, during his 21-year Navy career. Now in his second profession managing military jet engine training for Pratt & Whitney, he has published three books about AMARG, the militaryís aircraft boneyard. His work provides unusual access at military bases and aboard ship and feeds his thirst for more opportunities to capture aircraft through his Nikon lens.
