Being the son of a WW II B-17 waist gunner, one would guess that is where his interest in aircraft came from, that is why he is also a pilot. For some reason, he grew up as a photographer, maybe because of another photographer Ansel Adams. He remembers looking at his images and wondering how he made them. But one day he was given a Kokak 620 camera with Black and White roll film, off to the races. Then 35mm, 120 and 4×5, Canon, Mamiya, Calumet, Hasselblad. Then, of course, wet printing.
He attends most of the Air Shows in Florida and maintains a website for the Air Shows in the Great State of Florida.
During his travels, the two greatest places are the National Air and Space Museum and what he calls Aircraft Heaven in Dayton, Ohio. Also, he is a member of the EAA both national and local chapter.
