Our Mission

The International Society for Aviation Photography brings together people who share a love of aviation and look to preserve its history through their images. Through this organization, members seek to enhance artistic quality, advance technical knowledge, and improve safety for all areas of aviation photography while fostering professionalism, high ethical standards, and camaraderie.

About ISAP

The International Society for Aviation Photography (ISAP) is an international non-profit organization whose membership spans the entire spectrum of aviation and aerospace photography.  Founded in 2001, it includes full-time professional photographers, videographers, graphic artists, writers, historians, editors, publishers, trade organizations, pilots, and serious enthusiasts.

ISAP offers an opportunity to learn from some of the most talented aviation photographers in the world, to become familiar with new photographic software and hardware, and perhaps most importantly, to develop and renew lasting friendships in an atmosphere of extraordinary camaraderie.

Membership is open to anyone interested in aviation and aerospace photography including professionals, advanced amateurs, and photographers from other disciplines. We also welcome corporations with aviation interests or charters.

Membership is a privilege and carries with it a responsibility both to the Society and to fellow members.

All members will share, educate, and network with each other to continually improve the skills and knowledge base of ISAP as a whole. ISAP’s goal is to continue its standing as a professional organization held in high esteem by the aviation industry.
