Aviation has always been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. My dad and I would spend hours at the end of a runway watching planes come and go at our local airport. Now a parent myself, I have tried to instill that same passion into my boys and now we take our yearly “pilgrimage” to EAA Air Venture for a week of nothing but airplanes! Working at Skunk Works and living in the “aerospace valley” also lends itself to ample opportunity for feeding the aviation passion.
Photography is something I have dabbled in for years, but in 2021 I had the opportunity to be on the flight line, with a camera, with the pros for the EAA Air Venture airshow. Needless to say, I was hooked!!! Still an amateur, I desire to learn with every photo outing I take, and from every photographer I meet.
