Denny Lombard retired from Lockheed Martin Skunk Works in 2011 after 41 years. Starting with the 1980s development and flight test of the F-117, Denny and Eric Schulzinger provided all of the imagery that was used in the aircraft’s public unveiling to the world in 1990 and then closed-out the program in 2008 with the F-117’s Retirement. Denny’s highlights included air-to-air photographs of the YF-22 from the back seats of F-16s and F-15s. Denny’s career culminated with the development of a Historical Photographic Digital Database that will preserve the “Skunk Works” aviation legacy for years to come.
