Tom O’Keefe
Tom O’Keefe is an aviation, landscape, and wildlife photographer based in Southern California. The beauty and drama of aviation photography have become his focus.
His photography journey started in the U.S. Coast Guard. He served as a navigator and photographer on an ice breaker monitoring and photographing Russian vessels along the coast of Alaska.
After leaving the Coast Guard, he became a wildland firefighter with the California Department of Forestry. During his career, wildland fire aviation spanned from converted warbirds such as TBMs and B-17 through the Korean and Vietnam eras to the jet age and purpose-built aircraft.
